Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL)
Travel and Ground Transport
(Sepang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)
Kuala Lumpur International Airport has an excellent ground transportation infrastructure, offering arriving passengers a plethora of options for transfers to their onward destinations.
Public and airport shuttle buses provide the cheapest options, unless your hotel provides a free shuttle pick-up service, while trains are also readily available and provide fast and convenient services. Airport taxis and limousines are more expensive but also a more comfortable option.
Buses
A bus station is situated on the ground floor of Block C in the covered car parking facility, from where express services run to downtown Kuala Lumpur and regular public buses run to Subang and Nilai KTM Komuter Station.
Hotel Shuttles
Kuala Lumpur is home to a large number of reputable hotels, many of which provide free or fee-based airport pick ups for guests staying at their establishments. We recommend that you contact your proposed hotel ahead of your arrival at the airport to establish the availability of such services.
Trains
Passengers can choose from the LA Ekspres and the KLIA Transit rail services, both of which connect the airport with the KL City Air Terminal, situated at Kuala Lumpur's Sentral Station.
Taxi Cabs
Taxis are available from outside the Arrivals Hall. Passengers must buy taxi coupons from desks located in Arrivals before heading outside to await pick up. Unregistered taxis operate outside, but these services are not recommended.
Limousines
A limousine service providing premier and super luxury vehicles is available to arriving passengers. Desks are located in the Arrivals Hall for on the spot service.
